Itinerary
Day 1: Welcome to Uganda!
Arrive at Entebbe International Airport and be warmly received by a Nandi Adventures representative. Transfer to your hotel in Entebbe for relaxation and an overnight stay.
Day 2: Rhinos & Murchison Falls National Park
After breakfast, depart for Murchison Falls National Park. En route, make a stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary to see white rhinos up close. Embark on a unique rhino tracking experience on foot alongside experienced rangers. Learn about these magnificent creatures and the importance of conservation efforts. Continue your journey and arrive at Murchison Falls National Park in the late afternoon. Check in to your comfortable lodge offering stunning views of the park.
Day 3: Unveiling Murchison Falls' Wonders
Embark on an exciting morning game drive in Murchison Falls National Park. Explore the diverse landscapes and look out for lions, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, and a variety of antelopes. In the afternoon, enjoy a relaxing boat cruise on the Nile River. Spot hippos, crocodiles, and abundant birdlife. Witness the dramatic Murchison Falls where the Nile River plunges 43 meters down a narrow gorge.
Day 4: Top of the Falls & Transfer to Kibale
After breakfast, take a short drive to the "Top of the Falls" viewpoint for a final breathtaking view of the mighty Murchison Falls. Depart Murchison Falls National Park and head towards Kibale National Park. Enjoy the scenic drive through rolling countryside. In the afternoon, if time allows, participate in a community tour and gain a deeper understanding of the local culture and way of life.
Day 5: Chimpanzee Tracking & Kasese Transfer
Get ready for an exciting Chimpanzee Tracking adventure in Kibale National Park. Experienced trackers will lead you through the rainforest in search of a habituated chimpanzee family. Witnessing these intelligent primates swinging through the trees is sure to be a highlight of your trip. In the afternoon, transfer to Kasese, a charming town at the foothills of the Rwenzori Mountains. Enjoy some relaxation and prepare for your upcoming mountain trek.
Days 6-9: Rwenzori Mountains Trek
Embark on a rewarding 4-day trek in the Rwenzori Mountains National Park, also known as the "Mountains of the Moon."
Day 6: Hike from the park entrance to Sine Camp (2596 meters).
Day 7: Hike to Mutinda Camp (3588 meters), enjoying stunning mountain scenery along the way.
Day 8: Reach Kiharo Camp (3460 meters), offering breathtaking views of the surrounding peaks.
Day 9: Trek out of Rwenzori, Transfer to Coffee Farm Experience. After breakfast, descend down to the basecamp (1450 meters) and exit the park. Transfer to a charming coffee farm nestled in the rolling hills of Uganda’s countryside.
Day 10: Unveiling Uganda's Coffee Culture
Savor a delicious breakfast and a cup of freshly brewed Ugandan coffee. Take a coffee tour at the lodge, learning about the bean-to-cup journey. Enjoy a tasting of the farm's unique coffee. After a memorable safari experience, depart the coffee farm and transfer to Entebbe Airport for your departure flight.
